SMCPL Summer Reading Log 2020
The 2020 Summer Reading theme is “Imagine Your Story.”

Please know that your health and safety are our top priorities. We continue to take precautions against the spread of COVID-19, so you can enjoy summer reading safely.

Patrons are asked to remain in their vehicles and library staff will bring items to their vehicle for curbside pickup.

Every summer the library offers a summer reading program for all ages from pre-school to senior citizens to encourage reading or listening to books, explore new authors and genres, and find out about the many different types of materials the library offers. The summer reading program is also a great way to encourage kids to keep reading when they aren’t going to school. We offer incentives, fun activities and virtual programs to keep them engaged in reading. This year's program will begin on Monday, June 15 and although it looks a little different than in years past, participants will still have the opportunity to log their reading minutes, earn prizes, and enjoy reading books and eBooks throughout the summer.
Instead of reading for weekly small prizes, we will be awarding various prizes at our Summer Reading Final Party on Facebook Live at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 7, 2020.
