St. Marys Community Public Library welcomes adults and teens to a fun crafting program where we learn how to repurpose plastic grocery bags into yarn, using it to crochet a flower pot. This is a simple beginner project that turns trash to treasure, keeping it out of the landfills. Basic crochet knowledge is helpful. Bring a size H, I, or J crochet hook, scissors, and approximately 50 plastic grocery bags.
Join us on Friday, June 17, from 10 a.m. to noon for this program. Please register in advance so we can gather supplies. Program will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, taking place during our weekly Craft Circle.
