St. Marys Community Public Library will co-host a National Museum of the Great Lakes (NMGL) program on Tuesday, June 7, from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Arrrgh: History of Piracy on the Great Lakes will be presented by Ellen Kennedy, Education and Visitor Experience Director of NMGL. This program is geared to adults who love history, but teens and young adults with an interest in history might enjoy it, too.

Join us for a historical and cultural re-examination of piracy and it implications for understanding Great Lakes history. No parrots or peg legs included but a healthy dose of thievery, mutiny, and other unsavory tales.

Check our online calendar at smcpl.org or follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and never miss any of the library events.
