Meet Laura Ingalls Wilder on Monday, June 5th, at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Marys Theater and Grand Opera House for this year’s St. Marys Community Public Library’s Summer Reading Kickoff Event. The author of the beloved Little House on the Prairie series will be portrayed in character by Judy Green, who will also share her knowledge of and artifacts from Laura’s life.
All ages are invited to this very special, free program. Green will take us back in time to revisit tales from Laura Ingalls Wilder’s pioneer life, filling in Little House fans with the details of “what happened next” in Laura’s life. Green’s collection of photographs and pioneer artifacts will also be on display.
Green has been portraying Laura Ingalls Wilder for nearly 30 years. She attended Bowling Green State University and is a graduate of Cleveland State University.
