National Library Card Sign Up Month celebrated in September

St. Marys Community Public Library is celebrating National Library Card Sign Up Month throughout September with a children’s scavenger hunt. Children will complete a scavenger hunt sheet by searching for “squirrels” around the library. Once complete, children will turn in their sheet at the desk and receive a small prize.
Your library card is the key to library access 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Search the online catalog, check your account, or place holds on the items you want to read, listen to, or watch. Access research databases like Heritage Quest, Transparent Languages, WorldBook, Chilton’s Library, LinkedIn Learning, and more via OhioWebLibrary.org. Your library card can be used to access digital items, too, so you can download books to your smart phone, tablet, or computer using Libby or Hoopla.
