The St. Marys Community Public Library will be hosting a pioneer journal-making class on Monday, June 12th at 6:00 p.m. Attending patrons will learn how to make journals with handmade paper. Making journals is a fun way to use your creative brain and practice narrative writing. Most of the information we have on the Pioneers and their journey west came from their journals.
Adults, teens, and children with an adult are all welcome to participate. The library will provide the necessary materials. PLEASE CALL TO SIGN UP.
If interested, the paper will be made at the library on June 8th at 3:00 p.m.
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
