The St. Marys Community Public Library is hosting creative writing classes every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Join us to create characters and worlds. SIGN-UP IS REQUIRED as space is limited. Located in the Young Adult section of the library.
Each week’s class will be based on a different theme: August 30th, Fiction in Reality; September 6th, Reality in Fiction; September 13th, Escape Room; September 20th, St. Marys Time Travel; September 27th, Cozy Mystery.
The process of writing encourages critical thinking. Organizing thoughts into coherent narratives requires analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information effectively. Writing nurtures creativity and imagination. Writers can create worlds, characters, and stories that reflect their interests, dreams, and unique perspectives. Teens can use this class to help build characters for future projects like their own stories, comic books, and video games.
