Backman novel to be discussed at library
Join us at the St. Marys Community Public Library in a discussion of Anxious People by Fredrik Backman on Thursday, April 14, 2022. We will meet from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the library meeting room. Books are available at the library to check out and read prior to our discussion.
Backman plumbs the human psyche again with a bank robber-hostage situation where each member of the group reveals their anxieties—both about their immediate situation and their lives. Both heartwarming and heart-wrenching, Anxious People is the kind of story Backman tells best: quirky, bittersweet, and enlightening.
