Adults and teens invited to library program

Keeping in the theme of Summer Reading 2022 “Oceans of Possibility” adults and teens are invited to a swashbuckling program, Make a Captain’s Log/Journal. On Monday, June 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. we will explore the rich history of captain’s and ship’s logs and what life was (and is now) like on a seafaring vessel. We will make our own log or journal, learning simple bookbinding skills, and we will get tips for journaling in them.

Registration is required. Program should last approximately 90 minutes.

Check our online calendar at smcpl.org or follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and never miss any of the library events.

For more information, call (419) 394-7471 or visit 140 South Chestnut Street. We are on the web at smcpl.org. Keep up with all the latest library news by signing up to receive eNewsletter  The Library Letter.
