Self-serve kiosk makes library materials available 24/7

An exciting new feature was added to the St. Marys Community Public Library building recently, with the installation of a HoldIT automated self-service kiosk. The self-service kiosk will allow the library to put books that patrons have placed on hold into the kiosk and patrons will then be able to use their library card number and PIN to get the books out, any time of the day or night. When placing holds for the kiosk, library patrons select St Marys Lockers as the pick-up location. Once notified that holds are available, patrons may access the kiosk at their convenience. Visit https://smcpl.org/st-marys-lockers/ for a short tutorial.

The St. Marys Community Public Library is open to the public on Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Curbside pickup of materials is still a safe and convenient option for those who require it; please call to set up a time for pickup. We are accessible at (419) 394-7471 or stmaryshelp@seolibraries.org. We are online at smcpl.org and on Facebook.
