The St. Marys Community Public Library will offer a beginning soap demonstration and craft using basic melt-and-pour technique. Participants will learn about layering and embedding to make unique and pretty soaps. Join us on Monday, January 24, at 5:00 p.m. Adults, teens, and families are welcome, but please register in advance as supplies are limited.
Each participant will receive helpful soap-making handouts with instructions, tips, and soap recipes as well as a make-it-yourself bar of soap. You’ll also learn about materials and techniques for packaging your soap, making it ideal for gift giving.
All ages are welcom,e but those in grade 8 and under will need an adult with them to participate. Registration is required as the program is limited to 40 participants.
